Wow! I guess I should play with my Wacom Tablet more often! I wish that anything I did even with "traditional" media would come out looking like this! It's really amazing!

I know you must get loads of these comments, but please, please can you tell me how you got this to look so..."painterly"? I admire all your work greatly.

:-) Sophie 'SoMK' M.Klesen replies: "Well first, thanks... this pict is really really old ahem.. I already worked on it a tad more and it looks different now *really should upload stuff* As for the "painterly" look, well, it depends on your brushes. I'm not a teacher or anything 2 but 3 good ideas would be to make your own brushes, forget about the layers (you don't have layers on an oil painting) and uncheck the "spacing" in the brush setting (or the stroke will look like tire tracks, which can be fun mind you 2) I hope it helped ! thx for the compliments 1"

Deifnitly makes me think of Christopher Walkin from one of the prophecy flicks, but then again he has those angular featurtes that make him almost joe average. nice work tho!

He's gorgeous. I love the colouring and the way he seems to have wisdom and impartiality but not necessarily coldness.
